The team at Peaky Digital is thrilled that our founder, Natalie Temple, has been shortlisted in the Leadership category at this year’s UK Company Culture Awards.

Our agency is committed to fostering a thriving company culture and Natalie is at the forefront of the work we’ve been doing – from implementing new initiatives to organising our annual company vision day – so we’re delighted that being a finalist at the awards gives recognition to the work that goes on behind-the-scenes to building a great company culture!

As we eagerly await the night of the UK Company Culture Awards, we can also reflect on the profound impact Natalie’s leadership has had on Peaky Digital and beyond. We’re immensely proud to have Natalie as our founder and leader, and we’re all excited to continue our journey together!

In Natalie’s words, “Building a successful agency isn’t just about achieving business goals; it’s also about cultivating a culture where every team member feels valued and inspired. I’m incredibly grateful for the opportunity to lead such a talented team, and I’m excited to see where our collective efforts will take us in the future.”

Building a strong company culture

At Peaky Digital, we’re proud to have built a strong culture that encompasses core pillars including work/life balance, wellbeing, socials and inclusivity. We have dedicated social and wellbeing teams within the agency, ensuring that we’re constantly striving to keep pushing our culture forwards.

We offer a range of benefits including flexible hybrid working, personal development days, pawternity leave, free healthy snacks, quarterly workshops on financial wellbeing and work/life balance, and access to wellbeing resources. We provide a company-wide healthcare cash plan, 6-month wellbeing check-ups, and ensure schedules aren’t overwhelming.

Personal development is key to Peaky’s ethos, and alongside regular training and investment in conferences, every team member is given a clear progression pathway which details the expectations and skills needed at each level of seniority – making opportunity for growth clear. Mentoring is also offered to our Executives, giving them training with our Directors to develop.

We’re passionate about maintaining a culture, even as we scale, which is why our annual company vision day includes a ‘growth and mission’ workshop which allows us to discuss with the team the direction the business is heading, and what remains important to them as we grow.

Words from the Peaky Digital team

“Our culture thrives on the foundations of a great team where open and honest communication is not just encouraged but valued. It’s always been clear to me that leadership ensures everyone’s voice is heard and considered. I feel part of the bigger picture, not just a cog in a machine, and the environment is super supportive. For me, that means I always feel motivated to contribute to our collective success”. – Chlöe Davison

“The culture at Peaky is really special. I know it’s a huge part of our success, and is why we have such good retention. Peaky has always been an employee-focused agency and you can tell Natalie has our best interests at heart. From benchmarking our salaries alongside other agencies across the UK (not just Cornwall) and providing a fun yet professional workplace, to more unique perks such as Pawternity leave (looking after our new puppies) and a Digital Nomad scheme (working anywhere for one month) – we’re continually reviewing what we do and and how we can innovate to be the very best agency possible!” – Ben Clements
